Before you visit
Use these answers to plan. Follow your clinician’s individual instructions, especially for medicines, fasting, pregnancy, children or fluid restrictions.
-
Choose a preferred visit time and service in our online booking calendar, or call +63 961 771 7228. Online requests need at least 24 hours’ notice and remain pending until CareMed approves them. Check your email for confirmation before travelling. Imaging is available Monday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–5:00 PM; specialist consultation schedules are confirmed individually. For same-day help, call the clinic.
-
Bring your clinician’s request, identification, previous relevant results and a list of medicines or supplements. For employment testing, bring the employer’s requirements.
-
A CBC alone usually needs no special preparation. Fasting glucose generally requires at least 8 hours without food; plain water is allowed. If a fasting lipid panel is ordered, the usual interval is 9–12 hours. Random glucose does not require a scheduled fast. Timed tests such as OGTT need specific instructions. Do not change medicines without your clinician’s advice.
-
Use the container supplied or approved by the laboratory. For urinalysis, a clean-catch midstream urine sample is commonly requested. Avoid contaminating stool with urine or toilet water. Ask when to collect and deliver the sample. For occult blood testing, food and medicine instructions depend on the assay used.
-
Surface scans, a resting ECG and a routine external echocardiogram usually need no special preparation. Abdominal ultrasound may need fasting; KUB and transabdominal pelvic scans may need a full bladder. Transvaginal scans are usually done with an empty bladder. Get instructions for the exact examination, especially with diabetes, pregnancy or fluid restrictions.
-
For planning, allow the same day or next working day for routine laboratory tests, 1–2 working days for routine ultrasound and interpreted ECG reports, and 2–3 working days for Doppler or echocardiography reports. These estimates are not guarantees. Repeat testing, referral, additional views or medical review can take longer. CareMed will confirm the release arrangement at your visit.
-
Call +63 961 771 7228 during clinic hours or visit our Results assistance page. Keep your receipt or reference available for verification. Do not send test results, identity documents or detailed medical history through the general website enquiry form. Your clinician should explain the results and next steps.
-
Ask CareMed about the identification and authorization needed before sending a representative. Results are released only after the required identity and authority checks.
-
Use the reschedule or cancel link in your booking email when available. You can also call +63 961 771 7228 or email hello@caremed.ph with your name and visit date. Ask CareMed to confirm any revised service or doctor arrangements. A pending request is not a confirmed appointment.
-
Check the published test or package fee, then confirm your service and total with CareMed. No payment is collected by the appointment request form. Contact the clinic for the available payment arrangements before your visit.
